Every day we are faced with challenges and obstacles that can help us grow or help define us. When stress creeps in it can make things seem quite impossible. It can even paralyze us and prevent us from doing things that need to be done.

The story of the glass of water in the video above offers a powerful metaphor as to how our minds often tend to process things. We obsess and hold onto things. Worse: we keep stirring the water, so the mud does not have a chance to settle for the water to clear up.


It has been said that "You are what you think about all day long."


For Week 2 of Your Mind Matters we are talking about stress. How are you coping with your stress? Stress is a reaction to a stressor. Our reaction to daily stresses can affect our energy levels, our immunity, and the way that we perceive the world around us. If we implement the best tactics to deal with our stress (which is individualized) then we can live a healthier, happier more fulfilling life. This week lets take a pause, and together practice figuring out what helps us put that glass down.
